A motorist was severely hit by 4×4 Pickup Van on the 4th of January 2022, about 2:30 pm on the Awoshie – Ablekuma Motorway. Thankfully he was not killed but team mcBLOG suspects that the Motor Rider has suffered some form of Internal bleeding and Psychological trauma and therefore should be rushed to nearest hospital for examination and treament.
According to information gathered by our reporter at the scene of the event. The Driver, who works with Prefos Limited, an electrical engineering company who are into the core business of performing all kinds of Electrical works including the installation of street lights, decided to drive past the traffic light which had signalled him to stop when it turned red. But as folishly as possible, This driver decided to bypass the red light at supernormal speed causing him to hit a motorist who was on the second lane of the Awoshie – Ablekuma street. This incident happed right after the Mangoase traffic light.
According to Residents and eye witnesses present, The driver was the cause of this incident and called on him to rush the Motorist to the nearest hospital for treatment.
